It's no secret that I love doing my own nails and using multiple color combos. This particular combo is my 2013 holiday mood. I know the usual is red, green, and gold with the odd blue and silver tossed in but I was feeling minty. Tossed in some of that silver and blue glitter for good measure. I can never keep myself away from the glitter. Read on for the end result :)

Catrice Nail Polish (Bricky Mouse) & (Kitch Me If You Can)
Because I really did need more...?
It is no understatement to say that I own loads of nail polishes. In a previous post I said I had enough lipsticks to build a child's playhouse well...I probably have enough nail polishes to build an actual house. One day my boyfriend saw the vast amount of polishes I had and asked, "Why do you have so many of the same color?" I quickly tried to defend myself saying they were all different "shades" of a base color. Or that some nail polishes have different jobs, like being matte, glossy, or just hardcore in general. But at the end of the day...yeah I probably have too many of the same color but... I don't care. Here's two more!

L'Oreal Color Riche Nail Polish
![]() |
| From Left to Right:( Banana Pop, Wasabi Hint, Flashing Lilac, and Acid Watermelon) These are part of the NEON POP! Collection although I wouldn't call them neon just summery |
I should seriously be banned from buying nail polish. I've been living in Ireland for 2 years and I would not be surprised if I have over 100 different nail polishes. And often I find myself sifting through 10 reds, 6 purples, several blue-green shades and so on. Why the hell do I have so many reds and pinks? I tell myself that there is always a slight difference in color of each red, it's not just red it's fire truck red, or boudoir red, or I say I'm red but I'm really orange. There is a difference and some are better in summer and others in winter or at least these are the things I tell myself to justify my addiction. Nevermind my addiction onto the review of L'Oreal's Color Riche Nail Polish:

Rimmel SalonPro and essence Anti-Split Review
Rimmel Salon Pro
Overall, I would purchase again and definitely recommend it to those interested.
Essence anti-split nail sealer
Essence is a brand that I have only encountered while living in Ireland. I don't think I have ever seen it in the States. Needless to say, I have only recently began purchasing essence products. The brand is definitely aimed at a younger market, say those in their early teens, and because of that I avoided the brand as I instinctively associate that sort of branding with poor quality. Honestly I couldn't have been further from the truth. Essence products are very affordable and the quality is quite good. I've picked up a few polishes here and there but mainly bought a load of nail "enhancers" (at least that's what I'd call them). I particularly find the anti-split nail sealer to be a great product. Over the last year or so my nails have become weaker and they split and break off like crazy if I'm not diligent. I picked the product up on a whim not expecting much. But truth is when I wear this either as a base coat or on its own my nails don't split like they normally would and it seems to have lasting power. So if you're having problems with weak or brittle nails I recommend you pick this little gem up. It'll cost you very little: somewhere around 3 or 4 euro.
