The Liebster Award
The Liebster Award is an award given to bloggers with less than 200 followers by fellow bloggers in order to promote blogs and develop blogging communities and promote discussion. This is how it works:
The person who nominates you (and 10 others) gives you 11 questions to answer and in turn you nominate another group of 11 bloggers and give them 11 questions to answer. Not only is it nice to be nominated but it's a great way to get to know other bloggers. Here were the questions given to me:
- Favorite makeup artist?- To be honest I don't think I can answer this particular question because I'm not familiar with particular makeup artists and their work.
- Best or Worst moment in your life so far?- Best moment (I'm about to graduate from a Master's program in Film and Television Studies) so far is feeling like I'm finally going to get to do what I love. I don't feel as confused as I did about my career prospects as I did a few years ago.
- Where would you travel if you could go anywhere?- Definitely Japan. I'd love to experience a culture that is vastly different from what I'm used to. I've been to Honduras and Ireland, I'd like to branch out even farther.
- Your biggest dream in life.?- I aspire to be a successful screenwriter/film director. Just want to be successful and what makes me happy.
- Most multi- use makeup product you own?- Not sure if I have a "multi-use" product, but the product I use the most is N.Y.C. Black Liquid Eyeliner. It's cheap but very effective. Goes on like a dream.
- What is something you wish you owned?- I wouldn't mind having a lot of things but I wish I had my own house. Nothing fancy, just something to call my own. I guess I need a career first ;)
- Favorite person?- My mother is absolutely my favorite person.
- What is your favorite brand?- Picking a favorite brand is tough. I grew up on CoverGirl Cosmetics and since living in Ireland I haven't had access to them, so I'm gonna go with CoverGirl.
- Biggest fear?- Being lost in the middle of nowhere with no transportation in sight.
- Your favorite BLOG?- So hard to choose a favorite blog, but I'll say The Wanderlust Project simply because it was the blog I came across that inspired me to create my own blog.
- Something you wish everyone knew about you?- I'm fucking brilliant! ha ha...um...I surprised myself when I discovered I could cook quite well when I moved away from home 2 years ago.
